This mom bet on her Golden Child to take care of her when she needed a place to stay, but after giving her the proceeds from selling their childhood home, he ghosted her. However, the mom never thought ahead, prioritizing her son's financial security over her own, and after giving him her house, she suddenly needed a place to live... but it was the older sister she turned to for help and a sacrifice.

After years of being seen as the second-place child, this daughter refused to be a fallback and refused to let her mom move into her 2-bedroom apartment. 

Parents don't realize how favoritism affects their kids until it eventually affects them as well. After a lifetime of choosing one child's happiness over the other, it's no surprise that the non-Golden Child may become salty towards their parents, especially if that parent suddenly comes begging for the help they'd never offer if roles were reversed.
